This project for a island masterplan organised as a series of neighbourhoods, shaped by water, ecology and movement, brings together marina life with resort- and residential enclaves connected by a continuous public realm designed for comfort and long-term resilience.
The masterplan for Turquoise Points forms a chain of coastal districts, each with its own rhythm. Marina villages and resort fronts sit along the water, linked by shaded paths and boat routes. At the heart of the island, a protected landscape preserves nature and gives the settlement a clear focus.
Public life unfolds across the island. Busy areas lead to calmer neighbourhoods of low-rise clusters and courtyards, shaped by the wind and sun. The buildings are simple and restrained, using shade and smart placement to create comfortable outdoor spaces and a strong sense of place.
We focused particularly on ensuring the landscape operates as both experience and infrastructure. Mangroves, coral habitats and bird environments are integrated into the public realm, supporting regenerative strategies while shaping everyday routes and views. Wellness, water-based leisure and open landscapes are woven into the fabric of the island, ensuring the destination reads as a coherent, lived-in environment rather than a collection of isolated attractions.
