AFK architect Jack Walker named in Mix Interiors' '30 Under 30'
We’re proud to share that architect Jack Walker has been recognised in Mix Interiors’ 30 under 30, a celebration of emerging talent across the built environment.
Jack first joined AFK Studios in 2018 during his year out from De Montfort University, Leicester, before returning after completing his Part II at Cardiff University. Since then, he has become a trusted member of our team, bringing both creativity and rigour to projects of every scale.
His portfolio spans some of our most exciting and challenging work, from reimagining apartments at H7 Elephant Park for Lendlease and working as part of the team transforming the historic Peek Freans Biscuit Factory site in Bermondsey for Greystar, to shaping a major mixed-use regeneration scheme in Hendon. Jack has also contributed to the design of one of London’s most anticipated tall buildings, 55 Bishopsgate, as well as numerous other residential projects across our portfolio.
What sets Jack apart is his balance of design passion and technical skill. He has navigated the demands of large-scale residential schemes, masterplans, and international hospitality projects with focus and maturity, all while achieving his Part 3 qualification at a young age. Just as importantly, his energy and positivity play a central role in AFK’s culture, helping to make our studio a place where people feel welcome and connected.
Jack’s inclusion in Mix Interiors’ '30 under 30' is a well-earned recognition of his contribution to the profession so far, and we look forward to seeing what comes next.
