Arden University chooses the Turing Building for their new London base
The University is set to join the growing ecosystem of institutions at Stratford Cross by moving into the newly completed Turing Building, designed and delivered by AFK Studios.
Arden University will take up 94,000 sqft of the total 350,000 sqft building. The Turing Building was designed and delivered by AFK Studios and completed at the end of 2024.
The move cements Stratford Cross as a hub for business, education and innovation, ensuring that the tenants benefit from the proximity to other world-class institutions like UCL East, UAL, the BBC, V&A, and the Olympic Park itself.
A sustainable icon
That the Turing Building has been chosen by an educational provider is a testament to the flexible mixed-use concept of the Turing Building as an exemplar office building for the future. The educational institution will sit alongside workspaces and amenities, a cafe, restaurants, and an Everyman Cinema with three screens.
The building holds leading sustainability credentials including BREEAM Outstanding, EPC A, ActiveScore Gold and WiredScore Platinum, while being on track for WELL Gold and is a ‘NABERS Design for Performance Pioneer’ with a Design Reviewed Rating of 4 Stars. The building is well-connected in walking distance from Stratford International Station, which includes National Rail, the Elizabeth Line, Under- and Overground and the DLR.
