Arney Fender Katsalidis marks major construction milestone on Canadian tower

By ARNEY FENDER KATSALIDIS

Today in Calgary, Canada the first steel beams were erected for Arney Fender Katsalidis’ Brookfield tower. The building’s structure is on track to achieve LEED Gold standard certification for Core and Shell development.

Along with local architects, Dialog, Arney Fender Katsalidis originally broke ground on the £535,000,00 (£1 billion CAN) development in October of 2013. At 2.4 million square feet, Brookfield Tower will be the tallest structure in western Canada upon its completion. The project is expected to create 1,300 construction jobs and 7.5 million construction man-hours in Calgary.
