Arney Fender Katsalidis appointed as Interior Designers of TT International London headquarters

By ARNEY FENDER KATSALIDIS

International architecture and design firm Arney Fender Katsalidis is proud to announce their role as Interior Designers for the new London headquarters of hedge fund investors TT International (TTI); works started on site today at 62-63 Threadneedle Street.

The TTI scheme presented an unusually strict and short timeline for Arney Fender Katsalidis, as the company had only 20 weeks to move from their existing location at Moor House to new facilities in 62-63 Threadneedle.  Included in the project’s tight time frame was the development of a detailed design brief.

Arney Fender Katsalids’ Director of Interiors and Workplace Strategy, Matthew Kobylar explains the process:

“Immediately after receiving the contract for TTI, Arney Fender Katsalidis’ embarked on a laser-sharp briefing exercise to develop the brief, collecting details about special spaces, storage, equipment, adjacencies, IT and AV requirements so that we could properly develop the space plans.

“Additionally, we set a number of small group workshops with the TTI staff in order to explore the goals and aspirations for the project.  From these meetings we created a quantitative brief with additional qualitative information that set the agenda for the project very early on and gave us our marching orders.”

Ultimately, Arney Fender Katsalidis developed the concept and detail designs in just six weeks, allowing for the scheme to go to tender using a two-stage main contractor appointment. This strategy saved time and has allowed the firm to deliver a project of exceptional quality matching the client’s aspirations.

In addition the brief and design, Arney Fender Katsalidis competitively bid the systems furniture package and undertook showroom tours in order to secure the right value for money with a quality furniture system matching TTI’s requirements.

The project highlights the skill and experience of Arney Fender Katsalidis in mobilising our resources to deliver great design to budget and in a quick turnaround.

TT International’s move-in date to their new corporate office is set to complete in early June.
