TT International (TTI) is a hedge fund specialising in institutional investment. Their client base is large insurance firms, pension funds and similar organisations. With a lease expiry approaching quickly, TTI had 20 weeks to find, design and construct new offices for their London HQ. This included 12 weeks for construction. Our project team understood the tight timeframes and looked at a process to streamline client decisions and fast track product solutions.
In addition to these challenging timeframes, the client had not developed a detailed brief. With only having headcount information, we embarked on a laser-sharp briefing exercise in order to develop the brief and collect all the detailed requirements including special spaces, storage, equipment, adjacencies, IT and AV so that we could properly develop the design.
We set up workshops with small groups of staff in order to explore the goals and aspirations for the project. Using some of our tried and tested strategy tools, we were able to embellish the quantitative brief with additional qualitative information.
We developed the Concept and Detail Design in the remaining 6 weeks, allowing a 2-stage tender process, which saved time and allowed us to deliver a project of exceptional quality matching the client’s goals and objectives in a relatively quick timeframe.
We also managed to competitively bid the furniture package and undertake showroom tours in order to secure competitive pricing of a quality furniture system matching TTI’s requirements.
