The office building at 300 La Trobe Street had a simple development brief: to create as large a building as possible within the budget in the fastest time possible. It was designed to virtually eliminate excavation, so much so that the building emerged from the ground within two months of starting on site. The 10-level car park was built within a year and was producing income during the following 12 months while the rest of the building was being completed.
